Garmin Connect Upload Issues

My activities were migrated successfully from Motionbased to Garmin Connect, but now when I try to upload new activities from my Forerunner 305, it tries to upload them all again. This results in mass duplicates. Can anyone advise how to prevent this? I cancelled as soon as I realized, but still had to delete 20+ individual duplicates.

Also, locations don't show.

Any advice appreciated. Anxious to use Connect, but pretty frustrated.

    True, what I meant, or at least have seen, is that the communicator plugin seems to do this check locally in some way. I have seen duplicates appear in my upload list which have been ticked as the OP has, but activities that I have uploaded via the communicator do get noted as previously having been uploaded. Does that make sense? Either way, I do not disagree that this aspect of the site could use some tweaking and certainly a check for dups on the server would be useful.

    Yes, I understood what you meant. I also uploaded by communicator plugin, but apparently fooled it with my erroneous file copy.

    I've been trying to use the "upload new" feature for weeks now and it seems like it just takes FOREVER to get anywhere... I'm trying it right now and it's on Activity #2/74 after sitting for five minutes. At this rate, will it ever finish?

    Garmin - is there a way you can make the Motionbased Agent point to GC so we can keep using that for uploading?
