Insights page shows average sleep duration is much higher than the actual sleep data.

Any idea why my average sleep duration, when insights is set to "current" (which I guess means current month) is 6h45m, but the actual average of October durations is really only 5h38m?

These are my recorded sleep durations in the ~1 month that I've had my Vivosmart 5:

  • In my case the "current" average is also higher for the current month (October) than the calculated average. It would be correct for the last full month (September), though. Check out whether it is not the case for you too. Although it makes little sense to use the last completed month as the "current" period, if confirmed, it might be easier for Garmin to fix it. I recommend reporting it to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com.

  • Thanks for that - in my case the reported average is about an hour above last month's actual average too (though having only owned it for 7 days of last month, that blurs the issue a bit). I'll report it via your link though.
