Merging 2 Ironman activities

Lap button got pressed during the swim at IM Wales last year so when I came out of the swim it was  already in ‘transition’ when I hit the button without looking so it put me into the bike leg.  Once I realised I clicked again and then ended the activity, started a new one and clicked through the swim to transition and finished the race.

I’ve changed the first transition to swim but have 2 activities and it looks a mess.  I’ve seen there is a tool available but don’t have a PC to try it on.  Can anyone help butcher the 2 files together to make it 1 swim, transition, bike, transition, run?

  • I might be able to help, but I would need to know what the distance and times should be for each session.

  • That would be brilliant if you can help.

    Swim - 4830 yards / 1h23m24s

    T1 - 0.74 miles / 11m26s

    Bike - 110.70 miles / 6h55m57s

    T2 - 0.04 miles / 3m46s

    Run - 26.37 miles / 4h35m18s

  • This will work - [solved]

It's close to your actual session splits. Note that when uploading you might get the message that "This file has already been uploaded." This means that Garmin has matched starting times with your other partial or incorrect uploads. You'll need to delete those first.

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool

And a belated congratulations on the performance. SwimmerBicyclistRunnerMuscle

  • Hey, you're an absolute legend, thank you.  It’s bugged me for the last year!  No tri’s this year but IM Mallorca and IM Barcelona next year.  At least Barcelona is flat so should be a lot quicker.  Thanks again for your help.  Really appreciated Thumbsup
