REVERSION TO PRIOR GARMIN CONNECT HOME PAGE

Dear Garmin CEO and Connect Team:

The only reason Garmin exists and you have a job is to serve your customers by providing us with the products and services we want. The response to the rollout of your new Connect Home Page clearly suggests that your customer base is very unhappy with the layout. It reminds me of the introduction of Coca Cola's New Coke, a product nobody asked for.

At a minimum you should enable us to revert to the prior layout and possible eliminate the new layout. The new side-by-side layout and need to click See All to see my data, truely adds nothing.

Please reply to your customers if you will revert to the prior layout, so that we, in turn, can decide if we need to switch to one of your competitors' platforms.

Thank you in advance for your immediate attention and response.

  • I wouldn't disagree with your message today, my concern was I thought you were suggesting that the answer was to switch to Apple, whereas I believe most of those who have commented simply want the old version back, and, for Garmin to listen to the majority of those who have supported Garmin for many years.

  • But Apple doesn't even offer anything like Connect Web. And the Health App is very similar to the Connect iOS App.

The watches are a completely different topic.

  • Still no respond from garmin. As always.

I want my old configurable start screen back...

  • Same here buddy... since day one contacted them and no responses... just shows how little they value their loyal customers and are now just chasing the cash for the new users who can only cope with simplified/dumbed down data..

  • Hi, I used to have customizable gauges on the home page of Garmin Connect Web that allowed me to track my weekly and yearly goals for my bicycle chain use, service, and tire use. I also used these gauges to track my monthly and yearly running goals. Since the update to the Garmin Connect app, I noticed these gauges are no longer available to add to my home page. I understand that there is another way to track these metrics by going to the Goals tab and Gear tab respectively, but it takes more time. It was much easier when these gauges were accessible on the front home screen. Can you please provide guidance on how to restore these gauges or if there is an alternative way to track these metrics? Thank you.

  • Sorry, it is impossible...

Everybody is waiting for Garmin to revert this garbage downgrade of the web-connect, I guess they want us to look for other solutions, non-Garmin solutions.

  • App reverted to 4.77 and the webpage, well, I use only strava now

  • I am struggling to get any data uploaded since i moved to the new version... the 7 day and yesterday tab say" loading error." I have been working for HOURS on this the last month and a half... please fix and let me go back to the old version.

  • Modern veiw is not loading up. How can I switch back to classic (which worked just fine)?

    1. I agree. New home page is a few steps back. I like there are some layout options. But one of those options needs to be the old layout which is far superior to any of the new layouts now offered.
