REVERSION TO PRIOR GARMIN CONNECT HOME PAGE

Dear Garmin CEO and Connect Team:

The only reason Garmin exists and you have a job is to serve your customers by providing us with the products and services we want. The response to the rollout of your new Connect Home Page clearly suggests that your customer base is very unhappy with the layout. It reminds me of the introduction of Coca Cola's New Coke, a product nobody asked for.

At a minimum you should enable us to revert to the prior layout and possible eliminate the new layout. The new side-by-side layout and need to click See All to see my data, truely adds nothing.

Please reply to your customers if you will revert to the prior layout, so that we, in turn, can decide if we need to switch to one of your competitors' platforms.

    The new Home page is terrible! I agree that the way Goals were displayed on the former Dashboard was far superior. I opened a chat to find out what was going on and was summarily dismissed and told I was rude for saying that whoever thought this Dashboard replacement was a good idea should be fired. I've been a Garmin customer for 10 years. I usually ignore offerings by other players because I've been satisfied with Garmin and would like to see them succeed. After experiencing the 'new and improved' Home page and belligerent chat staff I am going to be considering other offerings. Shame on me for having brand loyalty.

    I totally agree. I just got back from my long run and had the unpleasant experience of seeing the new “modern” home page. What a piece of junk. I used to like to view the progress on my goals with the little circle that changed from orange to green at 100%. Now you have to do a whole bunch of extra steps just to access it. No way to display it on the home page. Nor is there a way to display your most recent activity (run) with the little map and easy access to add comments. Garmin, if you are listening and if you care PLEASE give users the option to revert back to the far superior legacy version. Thank you.

    What is going on? Why can't I add my goal to the home page? Where is my dashboard????

    am I missing something???

    It’s the new and improved version. I just called Garmin to complain. They are taking feedback. Everyone should call to let them know the new version blows.

    The new home page has some good options to show, but being able to display goals has to return! I already gave that feedback on the beta before I switched back to the old home page, but now the new home is forced and the goals are still missing. Same for equipment.

    Previous home page wasn't good, so they improved it to realy bad :D

    Can we have the old Connect dashboard back, please? The new one is an ugly mess. Garmin must have programmers with a lot of extra time on their hands. They "fixed" something that wasn't broke.

    Agreed. I can no longer see my monthly and yearly totals, goals, challenges....Looks like the phone app. Why remove functionality!
