REVERSION TO PRIOR GARMIN CONNECT HOME PAGE

Dear Garmin CEO and Connect Team:

The only reason Garmin exists and you have a job is to serve your customers by providing us with the products and services we want. The response to the rollout of your new Connect Home Page clearly suggests that your customer base is very unhappy with the layout. It reminds me of the introduction of Coca Cola's New Coke, a product nobody asked for.

At a minimum you should enable us to revert to the prior layout and possible eliminate the new layout. The new side-by-side layout and need to click See All to see my data, truely adds nothing.

Please reply to your customers if you will revert to the prior layout, so that we, in turn, can decide if we need to switch to one of your competitors' platforms.

    Agree - and yet nothing happens. The duplicate data is useless and now I’m getting incorrect data as well. In Focus and At a Glance are not both needed. As others have suggested, bring back the old interface and then work on improvements. But do something soon or we’ll all be leaving for other products.

    I agree. The new Home page is less informative than the old Dashboard. I'd like to see a reversion or an improvement to see the sampling of my workouts in the page. Couldn't they develop a stripped down phone only version of interface?

    Without seeing dashboards of self set goals or my gear on my laptop will most likely be a deal breaker for me.

    I’ve never logged into the forum, but I did now so I can voice my discontent with this new program.  

    Exploring other options because if this new style stays the same, it’s of little value to me.

    Apart from the fact that of course not "we'll all" be leaving for other products: what would be a product that offers the same kind of functionality as my Epix? And if you have a suggestion please be fact based. Just mentioning any other device won't suffice.

    Please also let me know which other supplier has a forum like this just in case I want to vent in the same way that people do here.

    Hello all,

    I don't normally post on forums. So this will tell you my angst with the NEW Garmin Connect home page. I am sure there are a lot of smart people at Garmin working within a number of parameters to build this new version of Connect. For me personally they missed the mark in a big way. I will add some constructive feedback in how I used Garmin Connect. I would like an option to revert back to the old version if the functionality of the new version cannot be modified appropriately.

    Loss of dashboards - This is huge. I had a custom dashboard and at a glance I could see my performance against my annual cycling and running goals. I could also see my performance against my monthly goals. I could see a report of my last 6 month or 1 year performance month over month on a chart by activity. I could see my most recent cycle or runs as nice little maps. I could delete things I thought were irrelevant. The beauty of the site was that I could configure it to be what I thought was important at a glance so I could get in and get out quickly. Now I think can still see all those reports but I need to go to five or six places to find them.

    You should be more specific and mention what functions of your Epix you use. If you want all the answer will be "no".
