REVERSION TO PRIOR GARMIN CONNECT HOME PAGE

Dear Garmin CEO and Connect Team:

The only reason Garmin exists and you have a job is to serve your customers by providing us with the products and services we want. The response to the rollout of your new Connect Home Page clearly suggests that your customer base is very unhappy with the layout. It reminds me of the introduction of Coca Cola's New Coke, a product nobody asked for.

At a minimum you should enable us to revert to the prior layout and possible eliminate the new layout. The new side-by-side layout and need to click See All to see my data, truely adds nothing.

Please reply to your customers if you will revert to the prior layout, so that we, in turn, can decide if we need to switch to one of your competitors' platforms.

Thank you in advance for your immediate attention and response.

    • I dont just care about the appearance of the new home page, i want it to work.  I have done two runs today, and neither of them are showing…and yes, the app shows my forerunner is still connected.  Coros is looking damn good right now!
  • New home page is horrible and very user unfriendly. Too difficult to see stats that interest me without wasting time clicking through screens. And as a side note I'm guessing most people are not tracking their menstrual cycle here.. Bring back old home page!

  • New home page is horrible, and NOT user friendly. Too many clicks to see desired stats, wasting my time. Will seriously consider switching to a different brand.  Seems like steps and activities should be more important than tracking neuances of menstrual cycles.. bring back old home screen!

  • Coke fans called it "Black Tuesday."

On April 23, 1985  — the carbonated disaster called New Coke made its debut. Coca-Cola's idea was to make Coke appeal to a younger generation by replacing its signature soda with a sweeter version. It quickly became a national disgrace.

The experiment only lasted a few months before Coke reversed course — on July 10, 1985, it announced it would bring back "Coca-Cola Classic," selling it alongside New Coke. But even though New Coke has gone down as one of the most infamous mistakes in marketing history, most people don't know the real reasons it failed.

New Coke didn't only fail because it tasted too sweet — it failed because the marketing campaigns, business structures, and company culture at Coke doomed it from the beginning.

  • It is for me! I'm off to Apple! Won't consider any Garmin products in the future!

  • What is the difference between the Health App and how data is shown and the new design from Garmin? I would say, that Garmin has taken Health as an inspiration.

Which Apple product can be used as a sports watch comparable to e.g. Epix or Fenix?

  • I wholeheartedly agree, the new screen is horrible.  Please bring back the old screen.

  • The app is very bad but the website is even worse. Deleting the separate desktops is just criminal

  • Thank you for mentioning a new name. I just purchased a Garmin's watch but now am going to return it because of this botched new design. They don't listen to their customers. I'm going to look at Coros now. Seems like a good competitor.

Vote with your wallets. Garmin is not going to listen to us.

  • I don’t like the new homepage. Are you going to bring back the old version?
