Poll: How would you rate the new web interface?

  • Yes, I'm aware of the current disruption to the service which started 7:25 pm, according to the notification on my Android app. The problem is that it hasn't opened for me since yesterday after I had been asked to choose my new home screen on my phone. As soon as I had done that, I could no longer open the home page on Firefox even though there was no problem with syncing and the Android app still worked. I have already commented on the thread you linked.

  • I participated in the beta testing of the new layout for a few months before its full implementation. Initially, I preferred the old format and reverted to it. However, now that the new layout is fully operational, I've warmed up to it. Adjusting the layout to my preferences didn't take much time at all.

  • Thank you for sharing, mine is even worse. I can't even scroll down to see anything below the blank screen. I see if I can share a screenshot. I probably need to upload that somewhere.

  • You can share it here. - Insert - Image/video/file, click on "Upload,"  browse for file, OK. Or just drag and drop the image into the message window.

  • Garmin new home page blank on Firefox

    This is how it looks on my computer. There are no scrolling bars on the right so that I could scroll down to view anything (if there is anything to view).

  • Garmin really outdid themselves with this fiasco. 90+ percent of users are up in arms and they remain silent. Nero fiddles as Rome burns. They launched a new platform that many hated, the platform has huge flaws, the reception by their customers has been nothing short of brutal; and the 3 guys in charge sit idilly by. They allowed their "developers" to take something that was really good 95/100 and turn it into an utter failure... but it supposedly "looks" good and modern, uggg.

  • Not sure where you are, but most of the folks that continue to have this issue are in Europe. It would be difficult to troubleshoot your specific issue until the web site is functional. You can also check status in your area by going to Garmin Connect | Status. If all is well, should be all green. 

  • Yes, I'm in Europe. It's all green for me now so the temporary issue with syncing and other services wasn't the problem. I haven't been able to see anything since I switched to the new look on the phone yesterday or the day before. Since then I only get this blank page on Firefox so it's not the technical problem but some coding issue, maybe some javascript features that my browser can't handle. I'm not really into javascript so I can't judge that. I only have some experience with python.

  • I would try a different browser just to test or on firefox "clear data"
