Why doesn't Connect default to my home location?
Looking at the forum and it's 10+ years since this issue was raised.
When is it being sorted?
Every, by which I mean every, app or web service known to man can ID a location online. Why not you?
Very very poor state of affairs.
It's not accurate and can be flakey at times, but it should at least find your general location based on your ISP & IP address, assuming you have the settings to allow location in your browser.…

Yes, it is already allowed. I use Chrome. See the attached image where I try and explain it in more detail.
