Why doesn't Connect default to my home location?

Looking at the forum and it's 10+ years since this issue was raised. 

When is it being sorted? 

Every, by which I mean every, app or web service known to man can ID a location online. Why not you?

Very very poor state of affairs.

    Hi everyone

    I would like to change my default geolocation when I connect to the "connect.garmin.com" site. Currently it points me somewhere in Kansas and I would like to target Lyon in France. Thank you for your help

    Hi.
    Can anyone tell me how to save my starting location/home address in Garmin Connect on my home computer? Every time I create a new bicycle route in connect on my computer, I am asked to enter my starting position. It would be nice if you could save this position and use it as the default, instead of having to type it in, or navigate around the map to enter the position every time you create a new route. I have not been able to find a solution to this, so I hope there is an "adult" who can help me here. Many thanks in advance. Kind regards Per, a beginner from Denmark.

    Have you enabled location permissions on Garmin Connect Web?

    Google Chrome...

    Microsoft Edge...

    Yes, it is already allowed. I use Chrome. See the attached image where I try and explain it in more detail.
