Coach activity not syncing to Connect

Hi community,

I just started a half-marathon training plan. Naturally my routes don't end up exactly to the same distance of the suggested activity so I continue the activity after it is completed until I am home. When doing so the activity does not sync to the Garmin connect app but to Komoot. The activity still remains on my watch (Epix Gen2) but won't be synced to the app. Do you have any idea how this could be solved?
