What is the activity type, you are looking at? Segments only work for Running and Cycling.

Try toggling the setting - enabling Strava segments, and the go back to Garmin segments again.

trail. I've test to change it as run but nothing changed

When you go to Segments on the app, and open the menu there, do you see "Strava" there as an option to select? That's how it should be if you want Garmin segments. Oppositely, when it offers you "Garmin" then it means you selected Strava.

I checked with my trail runs and I can't see the segments tab. I see it for my runs that use the Running profile.

Can you share an activity that got the type Running?

The way I switch between Garmin and Strava segments is in the Dashboard and the segments widget.

I run regularly trails and have many segments on them. The Segments tab was always visible without problems. However, I just went to recheck it, and indeed the Segment tab disappeared from all trail runs, even from the old ones, where I was on the leaderboard. Must be a relatively recent change. So it looks like Segments are no more available for trail. Hard to tell whether it is intentional or a bug.
