"An unexpected error has occured"

While trying to log in to Garmin Connect on web, I keep getting the message: "AN UNEXPECTED ERROR HAS OCCURED." an I can't log in.

  • Might have been a brief glitch, as the current system status is all green. Assume you can access the Garmin Connect app? I would try the usual, such as clear browser cache, try a different browser, test using the Garmin Connect web using your phone's web browser with wi-fi turned off. Then if issues persist, contact Garmin Support directly using either the chat or phone call options.

  • I've tried contacting support who have mostly given the same recommendations as you, which work sometimes but I'd rather have a solution that works consistently because I'm getting the error more often than not. I'd rather not have to clear cache, delete cookies, etc. every time I want to use GC web.
