Problem with calories

Yesterday on my bike ride (with a power meter + HR), my 840 finds 4914 calories, but on the calorie page (and also after synchronization on my Epix / Physio true up) the number does not match at all.

Before the 9.26 update, I didn't have this problem :

    Yesterday I recorded a ride on the 840 while wearing but NOT recording on the Fenix 7. Calories and intensity minutes seem to be correctly reflected in Connect and on the watch. So is this fixed?

    Will test again tomorrow

    My test ride yesterday seems to confirm it’s working OK now - recorded on the Edge 840, wore but did not record on the Fenix 7 - calories and intensity minutes are reflected accurately in Connect, and synced to watch. Watch actually detected a lower number of intensity minutes, but updated to the number recorded by the Edge when synced. Behaving as I would expect now 

    Fenix 7 on 13.22, Edge on 9.29, Connect on iOS

    Have you tried again after that ride? I have the same “setup” as you and was hoping it was fixed when I saw you wrote this so tried yesterday, but it did not work for me, same problem.. I have toughThumbsupfter Garmin god in touch with me hade maybe two rides in about 6-8werks where I also fought it was a fox because suddenly it worked, but the day after not working again. After so many tries now I amThumbsupouble recording all the time to get this right as I really need the kcal to be right to train and recover 100%Thumbsup

    I have two successful rides now where it has worked as expected with the above setup. I will continue with this setup and report back if I get issues. I'm riding most days at the moment.

    I feel your frustration! Was really annoying me, really hope this is now fixed

    Strange.... I need to try again tomorrow then, but there has not been any software update so it must be Physio True up fault or something...

    Garmin could you confirm that this should be fixed now? Amy?

    Is there a Fix now? Other users are experiencing that this is OK now, but my ride on Saturday i also tried, but not working...

    So my ride today did not work… same deal, record on 840 not Fenix, this time calories did not sync correctly Rolling eyes

    Come on Garmin, sort this out. It’s not even consistent in its failure. £450 for a device that does not correctly record its data

    Thx for update… was same for me then, had a couple of “good rides” also……
