NAPS : i is that so complicated to set the possibility to lo log nap times or better to start a nap measure manually on my Fenix 6 saphire ????
We need a nap function. I just took a 3 hour nap and it erased my 6.5 sleep from last night. Who doesn’t take naps? Who doesn’t NEED naps. We needs naps apps ASAP. Or at at least the ability to manually…
I agree. At the cost of this watch it is insane to me that I have to override the sleep setting manually and it's not smart enough to record another sleeping session!
I want to track naps too. I have a 13 year old dog that wakes me in the night with health problems and a puppy who can't always get back to sleep. Garmin thinks I have trouble sleeping I would like…
Hi, I wrote a small app that does mainly help you to have naps without falling into deep sleep, be but as a side effect you can also log the nap as a 1sec activity.

Sadly it's all a bit limited due to the possibilities Garmin offers for developers
I've made a small app for helping me to have a nap without falling into deep sleep, but as a side effect it does record an activity for every nap.
Sadly it's limited because it relies on the stress level and it cannot read the stress level during an activity, so the app only creates a 1sec activity with some statistics.
Have a look if it is helpful: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/639b8e5f-dfa1-4ecd-b6c7-99e865622264
And please give me feedback here: forums.garmin.com/.../nap-till-rested-a-power-nap-app
I'm planning to extend it, so that the user would be able to select whether to rely on stress, body battery or heart rate. If the user decides to only use the heart rate, it should be possible to have a full nap "activity"
I tried doing some searches but all the results I'm coming up with are from 3 or 4 years ago. I was wondering if there has been an update since regarding this topic. What I wanted to find out is besides my nighttime sleeping, can my watch detect and record when I take a midday nap?
Really like my Vivoactive 4 but it regularly reports I don't get enough sleep. Maybe not, but it would help if my watch could track naps. I know this has long been asked for by others and my old Fitbit Charge could do this with no problems so it can't be that complicated! Could you sort this out please Garmin? Ta.
