Permanent 2FA

Has anyone gotten a solution. This now has happened to me after switching to Venu 2

So if you have a venu 2, there is literally nothing you can do to sync workouts now???

Who said that? You just have to use 2FA when accessing your Garmin account.

I just got a 7x Pro. I see the metal portion on the back of the sensor. I'm going to avoid that ecg crap like the plague. Nobody wants a feature that makes the valuable stuff unusable.

Same here. Epix 2 Pro. Enabled ECG and 2FA with it. No 3rd party apps working. Cannot switch off 2 FA. It's a mess

As many with the Venu 2 Plus, Venu 3, the Fenix & Epix pro and the Tactix are discovering that activating ECG creates permanent 2FA which stops many 3rd party apps from working.

This includes apps that send weight to Garmin and many others. The solution is to not activate the ECG app because at the moment, I can't find a way to remove it. Can Garmin help people remove the ECG app from their watches so we can switch off 2FA and get back to using our 3rd party apps

Unless it is not available for the owners of ECG watches, you should be able to disable the the two-step verification in the account settings at Garmin International | Security Center

ECG watches will not allow you to toggle as they are greyed out. There is then a text underneath saying permanent 2FA has been activated

In that case I recommend contacting the Support, and asking them if they could disable the 2FA for you
