Underestimates calories

My burned calories are heavily underestimated. The difference between Garmin Venu Sq 2 and my previous Polar Vantage V are hughe. Anyone else experiencing this as well? On an active day, the difference lays in about 700 calories...

The question is which one is right. Each of the companies uses their own method, and own algorithms. Only if you do a lab calorimetric test, you'll know which of the devices is closer to the truth.

Garmin's Calories are based principally on the heart-rate. Especially the Resting HR has a very important impact on the calculation of Active Calories, so make sure you wear the watch during sleep, in order that it can detect the RHR correctly.
