January 2023 badges

Good morning,

Anybody know how to get these 3 badges? Added an event to the calendar, and nothing happened. Is there something else that needs to be done?

You will not know, since the origin is (currently) given only either as Active.com or Garmin Connect. The user id who created the event is not revealed (not even in the background JSON data). I guess that many of them come from users, or from organizers. For example I saw events in France created in Dutch, and similar, and it would not make a lot of sense for Garmin to create an event in France with data entered in Dutch.

Yes, I have already acquired one of them ;) Could you check if the name of the January Tour badge is translated, because the name changed from my language to English.

I guess the sharing badge needs a software update first, as I can't find a share button.

I think so to. I looked at the sharing and it is currently just a link that you copy and send to your friends. No actual share functionality so Garmin Connect does not know that you've shared the event.

I knew Garmin was in messing with the badges because a couple of days ago I noticed the "GOOOOAAAALLLL" badge, which I had gotten back in 2021, showed as available again.

I've lost the GOOOOAAAALLLL badge several times. I think it is because I like to clean up my old goals. Now I've kept one goal and named it "GOOOOAAAALLLL badge" to stop me from deleting it.
