Missing badge due to 'other'

I don't know if that device supports that activity type, but you can always change the activity type afterwards in Garmin Connect to get the badges. It seems to have a "profiles" concept but I don't know if that affects the activity type.

I changed the activity type from 'other' to 'hicking' but I didn't get the badge: it seems like that the activity is manually loaded, so it's not possible to achieve the badge.

How can I set the device GPSMAP64sx or the app to have the activities directly as ''hicking''?

or is it not possible?

I’d like only underline that Activities recorded with this device are obviously hiking (not running or swimming!).
