Why does Garmin set the maximum level to be five?

It would be great if the level can go up to 10 or more.

I can only guess. When the new badge system was launched it was a bit tricky to get to level 5 since not so many badges existed and Garmin didn't see that people would "exploit" the Challenge Champ badge…

I've been at level 5 for a long time and still got lots of things to do. There are new badges and challenges each month and I take them all. Today I finished the last badge in April so I can "rest" for a few days until the May challenges are released.

Yes but you dont get any points. Thats a direct and fast indication of your overall effort. I am forced to find other motivations now, like socializing, which is not really as efficient because you dont want to be too competitive with your friends

Dear Garmin Team,

Please extend the Badges beyond Level 5. Like another athlete wrot, it gives many Garmin fans incentive and a goal.

I'm 4 Points away to reach Level 5 - my girlfriend already reached it today and it''s a huge slam in the face to know that there is no more Level beyond level 5.

Is it possible for you to level the system up to 8 or 10 in a short period?

You get points for every badge you take. Only thing that stops is that you don't level up higher than level 5.

Everyone stop buying Garmin watches. They give you some motivation with points until level 5 and that's it. There's no level 6. You can go back to being fat, no problem for them, they sold the watch already.

Anton, I've contacted support before posting in this Forum, they took my details in relation to the request of increasing the number of levels, you may do the same to reach critical mass. That is a formal way to process this request.
