Why does Garmin set the maximum level to be five?

It would be great if the level can go up to 10 or more.

I can only guess. When the new badge system was launched it was a bit tricky to get to level 5 since not so many badges existed and Garmin didn't see that people would "exploit" the Challenge Champ badge…

Hello,

After Garmin had introduced new system for achivements with new badges, my profile was awarded with a level for number of points. However, I can see only number of points required until reaching the next level, but not a complete level map.

Does someone know, how many points are needed for reaching a certain level (may be from own experience)?
How many levels are coded and what is the level badge color for each (for example, level 1 - green, lvl 2 - blue, lvl 3 - orange, lvl 4 - red, lvl 5 - purple)?
Which brings a question, what is the maximum level achieved by someone (is it even humanly possible to go past level 5)?

It would be awesome if they add a possibility of advanced search in new connections, at least possibility to search profiles by levels or badges. Now it is possibke to search for new connections only by a keyword.

You're correct on the colors and I believe 5 is the highest level as I've never seen anyone above that. Level four is reached at 140 points. Level three is 60 points and level two 20 points, I believe.

I just reached level 5 and it stated “maximum level reached”. Unfortunately there are no levels after lever 5. But you still keep earning points.

I was invited into a group challenge that had a Level 5 and he had 1,190+ pts. Insane. I figured after looking at that there is no level 6. Garmin should introduce more levels.

I am about to reach to reach 5 now in less than 2 years but I am sucker for bagdes.
