Why does Garmin set the maximum level to be five?

It would be great if the level can go up to 10 or more.

I can only guess. When the new badge system was launched it was a bit tricky to get to level 5 since not so many badges existed and Garmin didn't see that people would "exploit" the Challenge Champ badge…

Can you share the link you used to contact support? I've been looking for a way to do so but have not found it. This forum was all I found! I would like to also flag the need/want for more Levels. I don't know why they cannot just have you gain a level for every X number of points you earn.

J'aime également me dépasser avec ces challenges et me sent frustrer de ne pouvoir continuer au-delà du niveau 5.

Je suis d'accord, il y a encore des badges à débloquer et qui donneraient des points.

J'espère voir une évolution...

You only get points when you earn a badge but there are a lot of badges that just requires you to log activities.

Hey James,

Points are earned when you complete the specific requirements for a badge or you win a challenge competing with connections or other Members in your garmin teams. You win by logging the activities completed within the discipline and time frame.

Agreed! Anyone know if Garmin plans to create more levels? I just reached 'maximum level' and really want more levels, I find them motivating

Why doesn’t Garmin add more levels? For all of us who like to gamify working out, why not indulge us, keep us more online and reduce user churn? It’s all win for Garmin, yet they aren’t doing it. What gives?

I like your idea, they should also add motivation to get those levels by adding extra features on the watch, t-shirt, hat, etc to keep people leveling. Also, a monthly fee would keep the people in the ecosystem. I would be ready to pay an extra 5$ a month to get better training like on Apple Watch.
