Why does Garmin set the maximum level to be five?

Will be ever level 6 and higher?

If you want to continue the trend Garmin has set on a personal level (perhaps someday they'll make levels 6-8), one would need 620 pts for level 6, 1260 pts for level 7, and 2540 pts for level 8. 

Man that is totally insane... 1190+ I’m chasing level 5, started dec 30th 2019. Was hoping to get it done in 12 months but won’t get it now.... currently 279 pts
And also a sucker for those badges!!

I really enjoy the challenges Garmin is providing with the badges system. But I reached level 5 and noticed there are no further levels. Would it be possible to add a vew more levels? Thanks!

I can only guess. When the new badge system was launched it was a bit tricky to get to level 5 since not so many badges existed and Garmin didn't see that people would "exploit" the Challenge Champ badge. Now with monthly challenge badges and several different seasonal and regional badges it isn't that hard to get to level 5 and way above. 

A good idea would be if Garmin added new levels. They don't even have to set an upper limit. If they just double the amount of points required for each level it will be tricky to get to level 10 and no one will ever reach level 20.

Level 5 - 300 points
Level 6 - 600 points
...1200, 2400, 4800...
Level 10 - 9600 point
19200, 38400, 76800, 153600
Level 15 - 307200 points
Level 20 - 9830400 points

The highest number of points I've seen anyone have are 90679. That would be level 13.

Maybe level 10 should be 10000 points. A nice round number. Then level 20 will be 10240000 points :-)

Cela m'indique au niveau des badges, niveau maximal atteint ! niveau 5, 300 points. Dejà ! Pourquoi cela s'arrete dejà ? c'est vraiment dommage. pourquoi ce blocage alors qu'il y a encore des points à faire et des badges à gagner.

Why is level 5 the maximum level one can achieve on Garmin Connect? With the addition of monthly challenges, Garmin should increase the opportunity for badge points. It's an additional bit of fun to chase badge challenges.
