Malformed .fit file - won't upload to Garmin Connect or Strava

You can try repairing using various tools as mentioned here:

• Corrupted FIT file :(
• Can't upload to Connect or Strava

Or attach your problematic file to your forum post and we'll attempt to repair it for you.

• Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
• Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., then share a link to the file in your post.

Can you give me a little background on this? Was the file deleted, then recovered? Something else happen during the activity? What type of activity is this? Which Garmin device and what was the distance?

Don’t know exactly what happend? It was virtual ride on zwift apple tv and the distance was 37,8 km. I use Garmin edge 830.
