Indoor 4 hr Ride Badge not awarded?

Hi, I recently did a 4 hr Indoor ride on my Smart Trainer (with Rouvy app) but when i uploaded my activity to Garmin Connect it did not get the badge.... i really dont want to have to do it again..!!! I know it uploades as a Virtual Ride but i changed it to Indoor Ride as soon as it uploaded.... this worked last week when i got the 50 mile Indoor Badge so im not sure whats goong on? Any ideas? Thanks.

Ride was 4hours 48 seconds / 81.37 mile.

Thanks for replying guys, ive read a few threads concerning this..... i have just found a work around.... I started an indoor ride on my Garmin and stopped it a few seconds later, then used the original…

Hi, I have the same problem with two January challenges, is not counting any more the km's, I'm afraid Garmin is not supported any more 3rd training apps.

That's a hoax. Garmin does support plenty of 3rd party apps. What it does not accept, is the distance not confirmed by a Garmin device. And that's exclusively and only at Badges and at Badge Challenges. That was always the case, just Zwift somehow found a hole in the system, and managed to get the distances through, although they were not supposed to. The hole is now plugged. It is enough to wear (or use) your Garmin gear while using Zwift, and the distance will be counted.

I started an indoor ride on my Garmin and stopped it a few seconds later, then used the original data to edit the file in Connect and then saved it.... hey presto... the 4hr Indoor badge...!!! sooo chuffed i don't have to sit on my trainer for another 4 hours..... was soul destroying...! thanks.
