2 garmin forerunner 35's with different sign in accounts are tallying activities from both on one of the accounts

I have a forerunner 35 which is working great.   I used garmin express on my pc and have the android app as well and both work fine for me.  My wife just got a forerunner 35 as well and has her own account, (separate gmail than mine).   When she syncs her android, she gets my activities as well as hers showing on the android app.   I don't seem to be having that trouble.  Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.  Garmin Express on my pc also has the same result.  Her account on garmin express shows my activities as well as hers.  Again, my does not.  Mine just shows my activities.

  • ... also, she will need to access the device over the USB cable to clean up the folder //GARMIN/Activity, to make up some space for new activiites, and avoiding so the corruption of FIT files (see details at Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space on a Garmin Fitness Device). So, if she cannot access the device on the Chromebook, she will need to do it on the PC anyway.

    Hi.  I guess my previous response didn't go.   When I look at GE, there are two forerunners showing and each one has the right account on it so apparently that's not the issue.  I do have GE running in the background.  I wonder if I didn't do that and instead set it up to start up when a watch is connected to it, if that would help.

    This may be the last post about this issue.  I just checked on the two accounts on GE. Previously when you suggested it, I only looked at my wifes account because I figured mine was ok.  I just looked at my watch on GE and it had her info on it so I did click on "Change Account" and went thru the process of switching to mine.  I'll see if that works now or if I'll still have to set her up with her own windows account.  Thanks for all your help, and everyone else's.   Much appreciated.

    It should not matter. But you can try restarting the PC (if you did not do it since setting up the GE devices/accounts), to see whether it helps.

    Also, in her Garmin Connect Mobile apps, go to Menu » Garmin Devices, and make sure only one device is listed there (and the right one). Then make the same also in her account on Garmin Connect Web.
