2021 cycling (challenge): why does it not count/use my indoorcycle session? Used my tacx flux + Sufferfest app. The session synced with the Connect app, nut doesnt show up in the #miles in the challenge :( :( :(

  • I'm using a Tacx Flow trainer with the Tacx app to record the activity.  At the same time, I'm recording an Indoor Cycling activity on my FR245.  My FR245 is also paired with my trainer to measure speed/cadence.  I have paired Tacx app with Connect.  At the end of my workout, two activities show up in Connect: one from my watch, one from the app.  Only the one from my watch gets counted towards challenges.

The annoying part is that the FR245-recorded workout has about 25% less miles recorded than the Tacx app, which I have read online as to why those don't match and understand that nothing is wrong, just that the watch is showing a literal speed of the trainer while the Tacx app is showing an estimated speed calculated on watts and RPMs.  However, I'm losing a lot of mileage from being counted towards the challenges.

Am I simply in the same boat as LiekeV and others on this thread?  Or is there anything I can do about this?
