Weekly Steps Challenge

In the weekly steps challenge, i had over 60,000 steps and 2 days remaining and all my steps have disappeared. Where have my steps disappeared to?

Yeah same here. About half of those in our challenge have had their steps reset to zero and the others have kept their steps. I'm wondering if it might be something related to the New Year?

It looks like the challenge and steps have been fixed today. It seems everyone in our challenge has had their steps restored. Maybe it was a 2021 software bug or something. Hope it has been fixed for everyone…

Why isn't my garmin logging any data to the challenges garmin set.

Without giving us any details about the Challenges, or links to your Activities, we can only guess - one possibility is that you did not join the concerned Challenge, another possibility is that the Activity did not meet the conditions of the Challenge (i.e. wrong date, wrong type, wrong distance, not recorded with a Garmin device, etc.).

Hard to tell - I do not see any such problems in my own Weekly Step Challenge, but if you tell there are multiple cases, then perhaps there indeed was some mishap with your Challenge. If you did not change your privacy settings, and the steps do not get included within the next day or two, either contact the Customer Support, or simply wait for the next week challenge and hope it will be better :-) Happy New Year!

No change in privacy settings (or any changes for that matter), just a routine sync after an activity.

Was aiming for a big week too!

The same has happened to me don't know whether it has something to do with move into new year but all other in my challenge group appear to have retained their steps. Mine is now showing as zero

Me too. Am trying to correct it by changing privacy settings but no luck so far.
