Getting Garmin Connect to recognize my Forerunner 945 (Because it won't for now)

I am frustrated because I love my 945, getting Garmin Connect on my computer to recognize my device (Getting the endless "Searching for device" alert) even though it shows my Garmin is connected. Because of this, I can't update music, choose which maps to upload etc. I have tried turning the computer on/off, taking off and adding my 945 that I have had for months as a new device, turning the 945 on/off repeatedly. Seriously. Thanks and hope everyone is staying as safe as possible.

Going by your picture, this looks like Garmin Express, not Garmin Connect. If this is on a Windows PC, when you plug the cable into your computer do you see the device listed as "Garmin Forerunner 945…

And in closing this out, I tried another cable vice the one I got with my 945 (Garmin, are you listening?! ;) ) and it works much better. It fits better in my computer's USB better and more snugly in my watch so the connectivity is the game changer. Now things are working as advertised.
