    Hi! Thanks for your reply!

Well, I think the initial issue was that the Garmin software was not updated. Then:

    1) Last week, my gps device did not record an activity and suddenly turned itself off.

    2) The following days, it worked perfectly and I was able to use my device.

    3) Yesterday, during my activity, I was able to check all data (speed, power, HR, cadence, etc) as usual.

As you can see, my ride was "well" recorded:

The problem came when trying to upload my activity: corrupt file!

I converted the fit file into a .csv in order to visualize the data and it did not look good..

Maybe I did not upload the correct file for your to check. Please find it hereafter:

Thank you very much in advance!

    thank you for the feedback

    simple question

how many files does your ACTIVITIES folder contain ?

    • looks like your device is deleting fit files on it's own

guess you device has a max limit of 200 fit files in the ACTIVITIES folder

    • reaching this, it starts to make room for newer files
    • resulting in corrupt fit file !

    regarding the screenshot

the data you see in there for your ride is totally indepentent of the data in the fit files

    and

the fit file from your last post contains no data at all (only small part of the file header)

so, time for a backup/clean operation on the ACIVITIES fodler

it is also too late to recover the fit file with a file recovery scan tool

    • because you already recorded another ride after it

    Hi!
Correct, the activities folder was full.. More than 1Y of activities.

    Shame on me!

As per your post mentioned above, no way a recovery tool could recover the file?

Indeed, I have already recorded 2 new activities since then..

So far, I have deleted the majority of my activities in order to avoid the same issue..

    Thanks for your help!
