Segments not showing on my runs on Garmin Connect in Chrome

i don't know if this is just me or whenever I upload a run from my watch (Forerunner 620, I know an old watch) I don't get the segments tab at the bottom of the page in Garmin Connect on my laptop. I did a few weeks ago, and I purposely created a number of new segments, and ever since the tab just hasn't shown up. I do wonder if this has happened because Garmin are partnered with Strava, who have just made segments a premium feature, and so this has been removed. I know I can still go into the Training on the left hand side of the webpage and drill down to segments, but that is a lot more time consuming than just going to that from the run. Is this something that anyone else has noticed, is it just me, or that I'm using an old watch? I have read some old posts that say things can disappear and reappear almost randomly without any warning, but it is annoying as I've been using Garmin Connect a lot more lately and if this doesn't come back I'll have to look elsewhere.

    So you don't know, thanks for clearing that up. So I'm an edge case, I can accept that, or that not that many people look at this data, which I can also believe, I never have before. Maybe those that have been using this religiously over the past years aren't affected by this. Maybe by adding a number of segments triggered this change in settings, which no one else has been doing. I just don't know. I don't pretend to be able to speak for everyone else or their actions if this has happened to them. I certainly know I did not go in and change anything in something that was working well previously, until I started adding segments, and I certainly didn't change the setting in a place I didn't even know it existed!!! I didn't actually realise anything needed "setting up" as you put it, previously it was just there. Segments didn't "stop working" as you put it I just couldn't see them any longer on my activity page. A setting seems to have been changed somehow, but I didn't make it up so how do you explain that having happened?

    Having had Segments disappear from my Garmin Connect in Chrome on my laptop they have now disappeared from the GarminConnect Android app on my tablet/phone!!! I thought it might be that the setting had just changed itself back to Strava Segments, but no that is still set to Garmin Segments. On my desktop Garmin Connect I can see previously created segments, but when I save them, even though they do get created (I've checked by going to the Training->Segments and find them there) they aren't linked to my run (which is set to be open to Everyone). Has anyone else had this happen to them? And how do I fix this from happening? It seems that if you create more than 5 or 6 segments on a run that this behaviour happens. It would be better if it fails to create the Segment in this case and tell you, but it seems to do this. I thought it might be that I can't create more than a certain number of segments on a run so I tried to create it on another run that doesn't seem to have any segments for it and create it on there instead. The exact same thing happened. I give up!!!
