A couple of days ago, when I navigate into a specific activity to edit, the gear icon (Shoe) below the title of the activity where I can choose a specific shoe is no longer displaying (used to be next to event type and course choices). This is occurring in both Safari and Chrome. When I am in my dashboard where I have the activity widget, the gear icon does show there and I can choose a shoe from there. Any idea/info why the gear choice not on the activity page anymore?
Yep - Mine is loading correctly now. I assume the 4.31.1.1 update corrected things.
I'm having the same issue. Icons for edit, favorite, share, privacy are all gone as is the gear "add" drop down menu so I can include the running shoe I used on a particular run.
Suggest contacting Garmin Support, as this seems to be beyond a user fixable issue.

Note that when I go back to an older activity, where I did have the gear choice when the activity was added, the gear icon is not showing on them anymore either (still recorded under the gear though). Also, one other tidbit I found. On activities like strength training and yoga, where I manually added them, the gear icon *is* showing on them. So it appears it is showing on activities that it would not normally show on and not showing on activities it should be showing on. Will upload two screenshots - one from a running activity (auto loaded) and one from a yoga activity (manually loaded).
Just noticed that on my auto-loaded activities, that I am also no longer getting the icons to the right for edit, favorite, share, privacy and more along with the likes icon. Note screenshot here.
