Garmin express has deleted my most recent run when i tried to sync?

The title tells Garmin Express deleted the run, though in the message you wrote you deleted it yourself in Garmin Connect, so am not sure which one is true. You can try connecting to the device by the USB cable and look whether the activity file is still in the folder //GARMIN/Activity. If it is neither there nor in Garmin Connect, then it is gone.

I never said i deleted it. I said i pressed sync. It didnt  synch and when i checked my  garmin it was no lomger there. I guess its gone forever

What means "checked my garmin"? Did you look at the folder //GARMIN/Activity from a computer, or just looked at the history on the watch?

I looked at both, weirdly enough, my personal records are dated today, but there are no FIT files dated today. When i checked the watch before syncing  todays run was displayed. Oh well. Thanks for your help.

let me guess, you are using a vivoactive 3 Music ?

when yes, your fit file(s) could have a date other than today in the Garmin/activity folder

when no, and your watch has no Music, you can scan your device with a recovery tool

perhaps you are lucky and find the missing file(s)

i am using an ancient garmin...a Forerunner 10. Any recovery tools youd recommend?
