Simplest method for syncing watch?

Why does Garmin Connect easily show several "How to Sync" buttons but a direct button for syncing my Forerunner watch is not visible. Rather, each time I arrive at the site I have to figure out, once again, how to upload my activity data. This is bad UX. But I'm willing to be set straight - is there an immediately available button I'm overlooking?

How are you syncing?

All modern Garmin watches syncs automatically throught the Garmin Connect mobile app so you don't have to do anything. Just let your watch come in bluetooth range of your phone.

Many of the older ones also syncs automatically. I have a 920XT and it works together with the app. My old 310XT use Garmin Express but that almost work automatically (it often requires some manual work) as well but I need to be close to my computer for it to sync.
