What is happening to the badges for Songkran Festival?

I didn't think of that possibilty since it is a holiday like easter or christmas that you can't postpone, but it has actually been postponed.

There is still issues with the badges from last year, but I guess Garmin had to do some quick changes and that caused some unexpected behaviour.

Do you mean all last year badges, or just the Super Soaker badge? I never saw that one. What was it awarded for? Another regional badge?

I only got the Super Soaker badge and that one isn't working now. They are regional badges for Thailand and you get them for just doing any activity. 

They disappear if you change the country and then make an update to the activity that triggered the badge. If you don't make any changes to the activity the badges will stay even if you change the country.

The problem is probably that Garmin removed the detailed badge data when Songkran festival was postponed and they didn't replace the data with the old one: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/proxy/badge-service/badge/detail/v2/1000001

You will get a BadRequestException now. Note that you need to be logged in to access that URL.

My guess is that it makes the badge page break with the error: "We were unable to process your request. Please try again later."

That's what I wrote you in my first post. However now we speak about your Super Soaker badge that you cannot access anymore, hence the question whether you did not change the location in the meantime.

Ok. The badge is visible in my account so it is still there, but I get that error message when I click it.

Garmin should have added the old data back when they postponed Songkran festival since just removing the data breaks the badge popup.

Now there is also the same issue with the Halloween badges. If you click the rewarded Halloween badges you will get error message: "We were unable to process your request. Please try again later."

I also got reports from Garmin users that they were rewarded with Halloween badges for their activities yesterday. Maybe one today. I didn't get the exact date for that report.

I just saw that Garmin had set new dates for the Songkran festival badges: 2021-04-13 00:00:00 and 2021-04-15 23:59:59

Garmin has also fixed the issues with Songkran and Halloween badges so now the points should add up correctly.
