Training data all messed up

There appears to have been an update to Garmin Connect Web or so, as my training data now all seems to be messed up. When I drill down on my workout and look at the intervals the cadence is completely off. It might only show half of the actual value (say 85 spm instead of 170 spm) but I'm not sure of even that. Also, the cumulative time of the workout is not showing the cumulative time at all, just the time of the interval. Which is identical to the Time column next to it. This garbling of data is not only for the workout I completed today, but also workouts from weeks ago show these messed up data. All seems to be OK on the iPhone app, thankfully.

Has there indeed been a change to Garmin Connect Web? And can these measurements be corrected?

Nothing changed on my side, all data and graphs look same like before. Can you post a link to one of your activites, so that we can look at it, and see if we see the same thing as you?

Here is a link, but I think I see what you mean.

I'm using Google Chrome and there the Intervals tab (below the graphs) shows the messed up data. However, when I checked my shared link with Internet Explorer and Firefox the data is correct. Over there the second tab is also called Laps and not Intervals. But the actual change (showing Intervals tab instead of Laps) seems to come when I sign in.

With the above link on all three browsers:

    - Not signed in: Second tab is called Laps and shows correct data.

    - Signed in: Second tab is called Intervals and shows messed up data.

So then the question is, how can I make it show the Laps tab on my activity when I'm signed in?

  • OK, I see it now. Looks indeed like a bug in activities using the Intervals feature. I did not observe it, because I do not use the intervals feature in an of my activities, and hence all my activities show the Laps tab with correct values.

You should report the bug to Garmin - they may not be aware of it. If they do not fix it promptly, I could try fixing it myself for anyone with the help of local overrides
