User Settings in Connect

Hi all,

I have been unable to access the User Settings in Connect for quite some time now.  When I go into Profile and Account/Account Settings and then click on User Settings it just spins.  Doesn't matter how I try to access it, it won't show me anything.  I have tried on my Macbook Pro at home using three different browsers.  I have tried on my work PC using three different browsers.  I have tried on my phone browser.  They all just spin and show a blank screen.  I can access everything else in Settings.  Just not User Settings. So the only way for me to edit my heart rate and power zones is on my watch or in the phone app, which I can do, just wondering why I can't access any other way.  Am I the only one?

Thanks!

  • For me it's working, maybe try direct link: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/userSettings

You can also open web-browser console (F12) to see if it shows any error.

    .

But there is no heart rate there.

It's in: Device Settings -> User Settings.

  • Thanks!  It still doesn't work.  I can click on it but it never shows me anything.  It's been like this for a long time.  But you are correct.  I thought that's where HR and power settings were on the web, but yes, I see now they are in the device settings.  I wonder what's in that user settings now.  So weird that I can't access it.  It's the only thing that won't ever load.  Thanks for your reply!

F12 does show 4 errors and 9 warnings, but I don't have a sweet clue what I'm looking at in there. :D

  • In Account Settings -> User Settings there are Personal Information and Hydration.

  • Well that doesn't make any sense at all now, because all of that personal information is in my device settings/user settings except for the VO2 max.  Something really weird is going on.  I'm going to email Garmin support about it.  I don't get it.  Thanks.

Is this issue fixed for you? I have a simular problem. I see in console log, there are problem with loading the HydrationSettingsView.

  • What happens if you delete the app's cache? You could also delete the app's data but that would involve setting everything up again. The next step if those 2 don't work is to uninstall/reinstall the app.
