I just synchronized Garmin Connect with my Tactix Charlie as usual and the data for about 10 days is missing in the calendar, despite me having worn the watch on all these days.

right but when I go through garmin connect I can view past activities up to a year old. watch only shows limited activities. i have activities before march 25 and after 4/4. its just 8 days that are missing.
... also, if the second account is indeed yours, you can log into it in Garmin Connect Web (you'll need to find or recover the credentials). Once you are thre, export the missing activities, using the option Export as Original on the page of each missing activity, and then sign out. Sign back in with the credetnials of the main account, and import the activity files on the page Import Data.
Did you already try looking into the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ as suggested by WillNorthYork? If you are lucky, there may be perhaps more activities than just those of the last 7 days.
If they are not in the folder, and you do not find any unintentionally created secondary account by looking up all your existing email addresses on the Connection Search page (see the troubleshooting guide for hints), then I am afraid there is no way to recover the lost data.
I have 8 days of missing activities. March 26-April 3 show no activities even though i did a strength work out or ran each of those days. Ive synced through garmin express on my PC. Anyway to get those 8 days of activities back? I keep track of my running mileage every year and have no idea how far I ran those days. I also had a race one of those days and thats not recorded. Any ideas?
Which Garmin do you have? You should be able to connect your watch to a computer and see the activities listed under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on your watch. If you see your activities there, do a manual upload to Garmin Connect -
