Garmin Coach for full marathon?

I would be interested to know if there will be plans for a whole marathon for the Garmin coach as well?

No they aint good enough. Many people like the Coached Plans because they offer a more personalized plan that adapts to their progress. The Coached plans are based on several different training styles…

When you did the half marathon training with gregg did the long runs get shorter with 4 weeks to go? All i seam to get is easy 40min runs with the odd goal pace run in there. I am conserned that the distance runs have become no extistent.

Totally agree with this. I have tried several of the plans and no matter if I exceed targets, or worse fail to hit targets, the plan just continues. For example - on a 10k 44 minute plan it just kept ramping up the 800m repeats by 2 each week even though I was missing several reps at target pace.

Could cause injuries for some people this. I was up to

Repeat 12 Times

Run - 800.00 m - 6:25 to 6:45 min/mi

Challenging pace. No sprinting!

Recover - 03:00 min:sec

Walk for recovery.

before I gave it up as a bad job...

Agree... I’m halfway through the training plan and nothing has seemed to change. Same workouts week over week with the same pace? Thought I was having an issue but maybe that’s just how it’s set up?
