Continuous 'we don't support the file type you tried to upload' when uploading from Garmin Edge 520

I'm getting super frustrated with continual errors uploading longer ride files from my Edge 520.

It happens on longer rides when the battery is low at the end of the ride. Hit save, history shows a saved file. But, you when I select it, you can't access any data.

If I try to manually upload it I get and error message 'we don't support the file type you tried to upload'

Any ideas?? All the online software to fix files seems to be PC based and I'm on a Mac.

Thanks

Thank you very much for offering to help me! I was very sad because this is my PB.

      1) There are 25 records dating all the way back to 27/3.

Is this considered a large number of files? Should I manually delete them after syncing with GC?

      2) I have 2.35MB unused of 5.3MB

      3) Windows

      4) This was marginally longer, I have been running 10 to around half marathons. This was slightly further than a half and was my fastest half to date.

      5) No pause

      Thank you so very much!

Should I do a hard reset?

      • There is a max count of fifty fit files,
      • but I would strongly suggest to backup and clean the content of the ACTIVITY folder after each activity.
Should I do a hard reset?
      • I do not think this is needed Slight smile
