Vivoactive HR partially syncing activities on connect app

Hi all,
I've been using my vivoactive HR for more than a year and I;ve never experienced any problem
since a couple of days I'm having the following issue
I've steps and activities registered on my VAHR but somehow is partially not syncing correctly with my connect app on my phone
e.g. Today I've ran 10KM ( more than 15000 steps) , it's saved on my device, everything is syncing and displayng on the home of the my connect app
however, when I scroll down to see my last 7 days activities , I don;t see it and if I click specifically on Today, the summary is giving me only 0.1mt. Really weird thought
besides the above, I have the same for past Thursday and Friday where is showing " Zero" steps and activities whereas I've ran and walk on both days more than 15000 steps.
it seems to be random as Saturday was registered correctly . my averages steps in the last 7 days went suddenly from 19000 to 10000 a day
I've already tried to re-pair my device, uninstall the app, turned off my phone and my device...... nothing . it's really annoying
problem seems to be only related to steps average/counting under the steps section
Any idea?

  • Having similar issues, Garmin Connect doesn't update from Vivoactive HR but will through Garmin Express. Tried everything to reset and no luck!

  • vivoactive HR having same issue here, did multiple resets and it will not track sleep data & steps properly. Average weight is off as well, this all started out of blue, this is a replacement (refurbished) as the last one had a screen issue.

  • About the syncing problems.
    1. When I enter a new weight on my phone (Android) it is immediately sent to Garmin Connect on my desktop.
    2. Heart rate goes from my VA-HR, to my desktop, to Garmin Connect so I have to plug the watch into a USB port. Then it comes back to my phone.
    3. Steps and Stairs update immediately to the phone but not to Connect until I plug in the watch.
    4. before the Heart Rate "Last 4 Hours" updates on the phone I have to plug in my watch.
    5. Activities get sent to Garmin and are viewable immediately after stopping the activity.

    There may be other issues but these are the ones I'm aware of

    Please, tell me how this makes any sense to anyone.

    No, the problem is not fixed.

    Vivoactive 4 has all data. 

    however, it does not sync back to phone.

    sorry, the thread is for HR watch.... But the problem seems same.
