Connect keeps opening up PDF's

I'm running Android PIE on a NOTE 9 and when I open up a .PDF Acrobat starts to open it and then it switches over to Connect. I get a message of

OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG COULDN'T OPEN UP YOUR COURSES

. I've cleared the APP DEFAULTS of both programs, uninstalled both, reinstalled and still the same issue.

Same here... It's funny that Garmin isn't trying to help here...

I believe there are few threads on the android forum where this has been fixed, such as Garmin Connect app trying to open pdf files
