I can't find where else to ask this. If there is a better place on the forums, please move it there and let me know. I just saw the new privacy policy for Garmin. One thing it notes is that the minimum age is supposed to be 16. I thought it was 13? My daughter has been using a FR 15, and now and FR 235 for the past 8 months or so. She's 14. So what will happen when this new policy goes into effect? Will she lose all her history? Is there a way we can save it so she can reload it when she turns 16?
In a related question, is there a reason these changes are being made? I noticed Strava is also raising the age of use, and also starts on May 25th. Are there new laws or something coming into effect? My daughter is asking me why this has happened, so I want to be able to explain to her. Meanwhile I'll have to see if we can find another way to save her information when she runs.
