I know that this question is kind of common here. But I just don´t get it.
There are about 300'000'000 people playing Soccer in this world, and just because it is not allowed to wear sports trackers…
I totally disagree.
First: Soccer does not do quite well with the standard running monitoring mode - specially if you do both running and soccer. 8km of straight running over 90min is completely different…
You can add soccer (or any other missing sport) as a Custom Activity., and configure the monitoring settings in the way you wish (i.e. with or without GPS, the layout of the screens, alerts, etc.)
HI there,
I have my new Vivoactive 3 Music and I am very happy with it. I just wonder what is the best wat to record football/soccer and basketball sessions with my Vivoactive 3 Music. I can't see soccer or basket under Garmin by-default activities in my Vivoactive 3 Music. Is there any specific Garmin activity or way to track theses sessions? If the answer is no, is there any App you recommend to do that?
Many thanks!
Either you can create a custom activity, or you can use for example Running for recording outdoor football, and Cardio for recording indoor basketball. Or you can use the Cardio type for both indoor and outdoor games, since the GPS track won't be really usefull or accurate at this type of sports, anyway. As for the app - just enter the keyworfd like football and basketball into the searchbox in the Connect IQ store, and you'll get plenty of options. Select the one best matching your needs, and supporting your watch:
FYI those links don't work (they just take you to the store's front page.)
The store apparently just ignores anything in the first part of the path which isn't the store language.
e.g. The following URL also takes you to the front page:
apps.garmin.com/RANDOMSTRINGOFTEXT
To link to a search you need to include the store language:
Thanks, I just removed the language, to avoid showing up the wrong one, in case it differs. Removing the language works for other garmin websites, and I admit I did not test these one.
I can't agree more with El Toberto!
So....how's progress? Seems like this would be a really easy fix.
