Garmin Connect Badges Not Being Awarded

Question

Thank you for the ongoing discussion regarding the new badges. We have been following these discussions and are investigating why some badges have not been awarded as expected. We have created this thread to track reports of badges not displaying in accounts. Please post here if you did not receive a badge as expected, and provide: 
 
 Badge Type 
 Link to the activity (Privacy set to Everyone) 
 Any other details (such as social media platform you shared an activity to or linked your account with) 
 Do we have permission to view your account data while investigating this issue through our Administrative Tools (Yes/No)? 
 
 If you have previously posted about a badge not being awarded, thank you for doing so and there is no need to post again about that specific badge. We are investigating each of those reports and will reach out with any new information individually. We request that posts in this thread be saved for NEW reports of badges not being awarded to aid us in tracking these appropriately.  I mean, did you really join the automatically generated Weekly Step Challenge and completed it untill the end? Is the completed Weekly Chalenge listed on the first place in the section Past Challenges on https://connect.garmin.com/modern/challenge ? This badge is neither for Connection challenges, nor for Group challenges. It is really only for the weekly auto-generated step challenges with unknown people.

This is for Android phones. 
 Launch Garmin Connect 
 Go to Settings 
 Go to Profile & Privacy 
 Scroll to the bottom and select Manage Garmin Account 
 This will launch your web browser. 
 Log in, the under Account Details select Edit 
 You'll find your region there. Change and save. 
 It may take a few minutes, and maybe even logging out of Garmin Connect and re-logging in, to get your region to show changed in the app. 
 To verify your current region (can be done before all the above, from the Settings page, scroll to the bottom and select App Diagnostics. 
 In the GCM ~ User section you will see a line labeled Consent Region. This is the current region you are set to.

 Additionally to what Spiffman already wrote, your activities completely miss the number of floors climbed and the Ascent (you only have Elevation Gain). The exact algorithm of verifying of the Floor Climb badges is unknown, but it is possible that those values need to be in a valid range too. For comparison, this is what my Floor Climb Activity of the Druid Arch badge shows (note the number of floors, and the Ascent values, besides that the Elevation Gain was done with a sufficient safety margin):

Thank you for the continued discussion of the new badges. We appreciate all of the feedback and continue to work to ensure that all the badges that should be awarded are visible in accounts. There is still some clean up being done around the Well Oiled Machine badge, Goal badge, and a handful of others where the badge wasn't awarded as expected. Moving forward we request that any customer that has is not awarded a badge as expected, please reach out to our Product Support teams directly through phone, email, or chat. This will ensure that we collect all the necessary information and respond as quickly as possible. Working directly with each customer will ensure that all badges that should be awarded are in your account. Thanks again for all of the feedback.

 What is suspiscious is the name "Virtual RUN". Did you import it somehow, or was it recorded directly with the Instinct? If it is an imported virtual activity, it might perhpas indeed cause a problem. However, t ry editing the Actviity, doing a minor change (i.e. adding a Calorie), and save it. Perhaps you get the badge, anyway. Make sure, though, that you really joined the chalenge, before editing the Activity. Without joining it explicitly on the Challenges page , there won't be any badge.

 The report is for "all days", and it is unclear how long period it covers. The badge is only for walks after its introduction on April 28th 2020. Besides that, only activities recorded by a Garmin device count, so if you have any manually entered, or imported activities in your account, then they do not count either.

The frosty badge is for sub-zero temperatures and the temperature for your activity is 2.8 C. (look at the top right corner of the activity map).

 No, we do not have. Gamin employees do not intervene here since a long time. You are posting on a user forum , so we are just users like you, and do not have any possibility to see your data. However, it is also rarely needed - if you read couple of posts in this thread, you'll see that it practically never happens that someone would not get the badge he was eligible to. 
 Most of the badges you listed are regional - available to users in certain regions only. Those that you listed are for diverse Asian regions (May 1st), for Japan ( Golden Week ), for Germany (Rocket Beans), for Tailand ( Songkran Festival), for the USA, Australia, Canada (Thanks Giving). 
 World Running day is for the June 5 2019, but the activity must not be manual or imported, so that might be your issue. 
 And as for the badge "Share the love" - you get it only if you received and shared the badge Be My Valentine, with the help of Garmin Connect. Apparently you did not, oterwise you'd have the badge.

 Next time, make sure to calibrate the altimeter before starting. Also keep the watch dry - on some Garmin models, the opening of the pressure sensor is close to the skin, and tends to clog with sweat. I got used to dry it up each couple of minutes with the tshirt.

 (badge_description_strengh_5_times=Record 5 strength training activities) I didn't get either the Golden Week badges, April 29-30, 2020 Thanks

 I am experiencing the issue of unrewarded badge. 
 I did earn the July 2022 300k steps. But surprisingly the badge that is rewarded with 2 points was not rewarded. 
 My total points should be 228 instead of 226. 
 
 Can please help fix the issue?

I have not received my Tacx badges- one for trying Tacx and one for whichever "k" mileage mine was @24.6 mile ride; my ride instead was lost stating my Tacx account had no activity as of yet. . I also did not receive my Trick or treat badge or my share the scare badge which both are listed as repeatable badges.

I got an answer from Support. The badge requires Garmin Coaching Activities that are dated on, or after October 1, 2023. So while it's showing 10/10, it's not supposed to be counting coaching activities that happened in the past. Minor bug that it's displaying the 10/10.

I played a full 18 hole disc golf game today. Am still in the car on the way in fact. I tracked it with my forerunner 245. I did not recieve the "Disc Golf Rookie" badge.

 Unfortunatelly the page you shared is not public, but from the link it is clear it is a Connection Challenge, not a Group Challenge. The badge '" Complete a Group Challenge " is really awarded after completing a Group challenge only, exactly as its name claims.
