Garmin Connect Badges Not Being Awarded

Thank you for the ongoing discussion regarding the new badges. We have been following these discussions and are investigating why some badges have not been awarded as expected.

We have created this thread to track reports of badges not displaying in accounts. Please post here if you did not receive a badge as expected, and provide:

  • Badge Type
  • Link to the activity (Privacy set to Everyone)
  • Any other details (such as social media platform you shared an activity to or linked your account with)
  • Do we have permission to view your account data while investigating this issue through our Administrative Tools (Yes/No)?

If you have previously posted about a badge not being awarded, thank you for doing so and there is no need to post again about that specific badge. We are investigating each of those reports and will reach out with any new information individually. We request that posts in this thread be saved for NEW reports of badges not being awarded to aid us in tracking these appropriately.

  • Good Morning, was there a change on the EARLY BIRD since Saturday? This was the last day, an activity was recognized for being between 4 -7 am, but today it didnt.

  • The last day? You can only get it once. It isn't repeatable.

    This one does not work for me since Saturday

  • It can a bit tricky to get since Garmin Connect sometimes fail to count the activity. 

    I would do an edit to each of the activities. Each time an activity is updated it is evaluated for badges. 

  • Okay, now it works again as expected. Dont know why... 

  • Hi, I finished all the rides for Ride with the pros badge, using my tacx trainer. The badge wasnt awarded in garmin connect, it is still in available...and in tacx trainer it says i finshed the ch and won the badge...not sure what to do, where do i report a problem?

  • Verify that you are using the same account in both apps.

    I've joined the challange "Run a new record" ("Lauf einen neuen Rekord" in German) available till 11th of August. Yesterday, I've improved my longest running distance and accepted the new record in Garmin Connect. The new record is visible in the WebApp and the Android Mobile App but I did not get the badge for it. 

    It's the first time I don't receive a badge. Would be glad if someone could help.

  • After completing the "Ride with the Pros 2024", I have checked the challange playlist where is very clear mentioned that I have earned the badge and completed the challenge on 1st of August 2014 – more then 10 days before the end of challenge. It looks that the “link” between TACX Application and Garmin Connect Application is not working properly, because I can not find the badge and points in my profile in Garmin Connect web application. However, I completed already 8 TACX Challenges in the past and this “link” was working perfectly, the last successful badge I have earned in May 2024…

  • I saw a post in a Facebook group from a user with the same problem, but for the challenge Cycling Paradise so I guess it is a general issue.
