Benefits from Rep Count function

Greetings. Can someone explain benefits of function Rep Count (calculation of repetitions and weights) during strength training?
In Garmin Connect reports displaing summarise of the "raised" weights, but this indicator without segmentation by exercises or 1RM is useless - https://goo.gl/hZxiMJ

The only benefit that I see is a more precise calculation of the consumption of kcal due to the fixation of time for approach and rest.
What is still useful for the function of the Count?

  • 1) That's not what I said

    2) I know and as I said it pointless and bad presented information.

I also did explain how to do it better and I told Garmin, why should I explain it to you again? Are you a Garmin employee responsible for this part of the software?

Also: not every thread needs your input, if you don't know much about the topic maybe just don't participate.

I quoted exactly word by word what you wrote in the previous post

Dare to explain? I do not understand why it is pointless and bad presented

Sorry, I do not see it in this thread. I hope you do not expect people reading all your posts in all other threads throughout all Garmin forums

Of course, nobody can force you to explain what you want, but then I do not understand why you comment in this thread at all.

Sorry, but I was answering the OP question asking what the Reps are good for, that nobody answered until now. I have no idea why you started to interfere with off-topic issues.

  • I already did twice, with a long explanation too.

Right when the exercise is shown on the watch, I'd expect to see something like the last reps+weight used for that exercise. For running many things are shown to push you to break the last record. The same should go for strength imho. There is a formula to calculate hiw much weight you can lift to do X reps. The 1RM is how much weight you'd lift if you were to do that exercise just one time. Usually people use the 6,8,10,12 RM and if that was shown on the watch would be awesome. Either that or the last lifted weight for thst exercise, which suouldnt be difficult to implement
