On my new vivosport the watch gets new vo2 max readings regularly BUT on the connect app and pc dashboards the most recent activity does not update. It's a week old. The vo2 max graph from the past weeks does seem to get the latest data, only the color chart with your fitness age is not updating. Anyone else have this problem or a fix? Thanks!
Where exactly is the support chat session option? I have a similar issue. I have a fenix 3 that I used for two years, and I recently go the VA3 for all day HR. My VO2 max had been syncing properly while running with the VA3. Yesterday I ran with the fenix because I missed the extra data it gave me, and it registered a higher VO2 max. The line graph shows the higher reading but the dial still shows the old reading.
This is still a problem. After I created a new user name and linked with Garmin connect all worked fine. Now VO2 Max ONLY updates on the graph on the phone app. Everything else shows data a week old with no new updates.
I'm also having this issue - VO2 max and fitness age estimate not updating on the dial but reflected on the line graph. The app also skipped updating a value on the line graph after a new value was obtained last week. I have emailed garmin and am awaiting a response.
I have the same problem with the VA3. The graph update but the dial does not. The dial has more than 7 days that does not update. Has someone from Garmin said anything coherent?.
Hello all, Using my Vivosport now about 9-10 months. I don't understand how this VO2 Max update works. Sometimes days/weeks no update of the VO2 max in the Connect app. Sometimes daily updates, then again a long time nothing. Why this irregularity? On the Vivosport device a present value and a previous value. Previous value date is not shown in Connect app nor in Connect website. The measured points in the graph in the Connect app and in Connect website are also different. VO2 max values keep constant at the same number. So, how and when is VO2 max calculated or updated?
The idea is about the profile you use for your running. If you use Trail run, than the device doesn't calculate VO2max. Instead it calcultes the additional power and calories spent for uphill running. If you use Run, than device calculates and renews the VO2max data every runing session. Had the same issue till the thorough read of the manual.
