Garmin Connect 3.19 Update issues

Aerobic TE field in Activity list is not populated from individual activities. Just reads 0.

  • Thanks for posting/discussing this topic. This is an issue that we are aware of and working to correct.

Are you also aware of how ridiculous it is to only be able to view 5 metrics, and are you working on that, too? Did anyone at Garmin even use this version before releasing it? It's pretty clear customers/users are not happy with a whole lot of things about it.
  • Calendar dos not show in full size on iPhone 6plus

Since this Web page updates I am not able to see the fill calendar on my iPhone 6Plus
It is not movable. So Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday cannot bee seen.
It doesn't help to flip inio horizontal view
So I am NOT able to see this daily summary I did use for my blog. The old EMBED has been removed too.

    Can't use advanced search

When I attempt to use the advanced search to find an old activity I can't access the fields below the bottom of the current screen (see attached)

This used to work pretty well - now it is really compromised

New Activities Page - Advanced Search Missing

    Where is the advanced search?

I can no longer filter by Course or Distance. Now I have to manually scroll-to-load the entire list (hundreds for me) and do an export to Excel. That okay, but the course isn't showing in the export; only the metrics. I'm missing an important feature that I used frequently, especially when I need to compare activities with the same course.
  • Advanced filter when selecting "All activities"

    Hi,

I would like to know how can I run an advanced filter when selecting "All activities"?
For example - I would like to see only the activities with "Event Type = Race". But I don't want to limit myself to a specific activity type.
I would like to see it for all types (Running, Swimming, Triathlon, Biking...)

It was supported in the old activities view.

    Thanks,
    Efrat

Well it's pretty clear a few customers/users are not happy ... but as they say 'you can't please all of the people all of the time' ;)

Having said that this forum is monitored by Garmin so if there are any real issues I'd expect them to be resolved shortly.

Don't know about you but in the other thread about 3.19, I see more than a few being unhappy with the 5 fields limit. The only reason it makes sense to me is the less strain it makes in the servers having to query and display only 5 fields. So instead of investing in better technology, they remove more features and yes, having more than 5 fields I see that as a feature now. Never before but now that they limit it, it has become one. Typical Garmin.

I pretty clearly did not imply that all customers were unhappy, but based on this and other threads full of people complaining about it, there are definitely some unhappy people. It's not about pleasing everyone; the issue is ruining functionality people have come to depend on and calling it "better" just because it looks more modern or something, because apparently Garmin is obsessed with "modern" regardless of whether they can make it work.

You can add me to that list.
  • GC don't like Sundays

I figured out that the weekly calendar view is missing my sunday workouts whilst the monthly calendar view shows them. Screenshots attached
