Change BMR by Changing Activity Class - uodate historical data?

Hello!

I was finding that my BMR was too high. I noticed this by looking at the calories panes on Garmin connect. I then saw somewhere that if I changed my activity class I could adjust my BMR automatically. So I reset the activity class from 4 -> 2 today. Nothing changed anywhere!?! Or will I see the BMR change in the calories pane only after a full day? Can I change the paast graphs and data ... they still show the BMR corresponding to activity level 4.

I've read the same thing but on my FR 235 I've had no success changing my BMR by changing the activity level. In my case, the BMR is too low, but I haven't found any ways to change it.

It will change going forward. You should see it after a full day.

Rats. Changing activity level didn't change the BMR going forward after one full day OR change the historical!

The BMR is way off! Garmin says 2650 but EVERY calculator - st jeor or not - is in the 2100-2300 range. 2200 is what 90% of them say.

Maybe if you changed it during the day, it takes effect at the start of the next day. Check again after today.
